Copenhagen at your feet

A small metropolis

Copenhagen is an old city where innovation, digitalisation and diversity is in focus. Over time, the city has become internationalised, but has kept its charm and Danish character, where you can experience several thousand people biking every day.

It is easy to get around in the city by bus, train and metro. Especially the metro is a brilliant way to tour the city both before, during and after Copenhagen Marathon.

World Capital of Architecture

Copenhagen has been designated as World Capital of Architecture 2023 by UNESCO. Discover the city’s unique approach to sustainable, citizen-centric urban design and its views on the future of architecture. All under the title “Copenhagen in Common – We have the city in common”.

The celebration of this extends throughout 2023 and includes exhibitions, events and tours that have architecture in focus. You can get an overview of all events here.

Danish quality

Denmark is often known for being a well organised society, where Danish design, simplicity and high quality often is the focus of many Danish companies and their products.

This is also the case with Copenhagen Marathon. We are constantly trying to improve, stay up to date and most importantly make it as easy and smooth for you to participate in our event, so you only need to focus on running.
